The name 'Guappa' refers to the widespread custom for the shepherds of agro Campanian to assign a name to each bufala who raised, so that, according to the ancient rite, the 'bufalaro', at dawn, calling his name buffaloes, one by one, to lead them to the milking, and the call of the herd of bufaloes sounded like a lullaby .
