INTANGIBLE HERITAGE OF CAMPANIA
The Campania Region boasts an appreciable number of Elements registered in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The first inscription saw the recognition as a World Heritage Site, in 2013, of The Celebrations of the Great Shoulder Machines including the Festa dei Gigli di Nola (the Lilies Feast), in 2017 Campania had the recognition of The Traditional Art of Neapolitan Pizza Makers and in 2021 the Truffles hunting.
To these must be added the Supranational Elements such as The Mediterranean Diet (2013), The Art of Dry Stonewalling (2018) and Transhumance (2019), Falconry (2021).
